Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Georgia Christian). They claimed a resounding  60-26 victory over the David Emanuel Academy Eagles. The  win continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.
 Georgia Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  James Frazier and  Cason Evans.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Richard Braddy, who rushed for 157 yards and one  touchdown while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 146 yards and one  TD. Braddy showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 59 yards.  Hudson Starley also helped out with an impressive 116  receiving yards.
Georgia Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for David Emanuel Academy, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 5-4.
 Georgia Christian and David Emanuel Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next  games. The next time the Generals see the field they'll take on Crisp Academy  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 24th. As for David Emanuel Academy, their break will end when they face Augusta E  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 24th.
