Santa Rosa Academy has gone a perfect 7-0 against Temecula Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Rangers are taking a road trip to challenge the Patriots at 5:00 p.m.

Santa Rosa Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Nuview Bridge just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2.

Santa Rosa Academy took Nuview Bridge into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 24-26, 19-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Temecula Prep made easy work of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-10.

The victory got Temecula Prep back to even at 6-6. As for Santa Rosa Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 6-6.

Santa Rosa Academy beat Temecula Prep 3-1 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
