Basketball Recap: Chevak Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Chevak won the last time they faced Alakanuk, and Liam Pingayak-Green did his part to make sure it happened again. The Chevak Comets put the hurt on the Alakanuk Braves with a sharp 56-35 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Pingayak-Green, who posted 15 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Chevak is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Alakanuk, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
