Football Recap: Colleyville Heritage Has No Trouble Against Everman + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Argyle, Colleyville Heritage was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Everman Bulldogs with a sharp 40-14 victory. With the Panthers ahead 23-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Bodey Weaver was his usual excellent self, throwing for 197 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 53 yards and one score. His passing game has become a key predictor of Colleyville Heritage's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.

The win got Colleyville Heritage back to even at 3-3. As for Everman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coincidentally, Colleyville Heritage and Everman will both be playing Seguin the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
