Baseball Recap: Firth Victorious

Firth lost to North Fremont two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Cougars walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Huskies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Cooper Park was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Vasquez, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Firth's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for North Fremont, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

As of now, neither Firth nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
