Emerson posted their biggest victory since December 20, 2024 on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-44 win over the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers. Given the Mavericks' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while the Trail Blazers are ranked 685th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Lebanon Trail still got an impressive performance from Zade Shawwa, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Deniz Aral, who earned nine points.

Emerson's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Lebanon Trail, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.
