Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Pueblo County's Winning Streak

After flying high against Pueblo East on Thursday, Pueblo County came back down to earth. The Hornets came up short against The Classical Academy Titans on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Pueblo County moved to 13-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak. As for The Classical Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Pueblo County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Cheyenne Mountain on the 4th. As for The Classical Academy, they will square off against Falcon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
