Basketball Game Preview: Chickasaw Chieftains vs. Washington County Bulldogs + How To Watch

Chickasaw has gone a perfect 10-0 against Washington County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Chieftains will be home for the holidays to greet the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for Chickasaw and three for Washington County.

Chickasaw came into this matchup off a tough 42-point loss on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Satsuma by a score of 46-44 on Friday.

Chickasaw might have lost, but man, Kendall Sims was a machine: he dropped a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Sims is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Haywood, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Washington County didn't have quite enough to beat Leroy on Monday and fell 61-59. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly two points.

Chickasaw's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Washington County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Chickasaw strolled past Washington County when the teams last played back in February by a score of 58-44. Do the Chieftains have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
