Softball Recap: Tascosa Takes a Loss

Tascosa lost against Caprock back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Tascosa took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Caprock. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tascosa saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmi Whitehead, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI Whitehead has posted since back in February.

Tascosa's loss dropped their record down to 15-18. As for Caprock, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6-1.

Looking ahead, Tascosa will welcome Lubbock at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caprock, they are taking a road trip to take on Monterey at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
