Softball Recap: Dilley Takes a Loss

Dilley lost against Cotulla back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolves came up short against the Cowboys, falling 18-4. The Wolves' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Madelyne Proctor made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mariana Urrea, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Dilley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Cotulla, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Dilley has already played their next match, an 8-3 loss against Crystal City on the 4th. Cotulla has also already played their next game (against Hondo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
