Peetz had won four straight at home, but on Friday they bumped up to 8-0 to make it five. They took down the Prairie Mustangs 27-12. Those 27 points were actually the fewest the Bulldogs have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Logan Vallier threw for 53 yards while completing 80% of his passes. On the ground, Dylan Wagner rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown.

As for Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4. Having soared to a lofty 54 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

Although Prairie took the loss, they still got scores from Brennan Bringelson and Derek Dollarschell.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peetz will square off against Otis at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Prairie, they will welcome Stratton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' defense better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 44.2 points per game this season.
