Basketball Recap: Wrightstown Takes a Loss

If Wrightstown was riding high fresh off their 59-23 takedown of Clintonville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wrightstown Tigers took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sevastopol Pioneers on Friday. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Wrightstown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Sevastopol, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Wrightstown will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marinette at 7:00 p.m. on January 21, 2025. As for Sevastopol, they will square off against Two Rivers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
