Softball Recap: Quincy Takes a Loss

Quincy suffered their closest loss since May 3, 2025 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Stockbridge Panthers by a score of 7-5. The Orioles have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Miley Poindexter made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. Ary'Annah Freeman was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Stockbridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Quincy will face off against Springport at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Stockbridge, they will square off against Morrice at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
