Baseball Recap: Freeport Makes It 14 in a Row at Home

While Freeport's win against Belvidere wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pretzels sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Bucs on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Pretzels as they're now sitting on three straight.

Freeport's victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Belvidere, their loss dropped their record down to 8-20.
