David City hadn't done well against Seward recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Scouts came out on top against the Bluejays by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Scouts as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kamryn Behrns paced David City's offense, picking up nine kills. Behrns got some help from Kambri Andel and her ten assists. Bella Heins controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

David City's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Seward, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

David City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Norris on the 30th. As for Seward, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Raymond Central on the 30th.
