Desert Vista hasn't lost a match since December 28, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They came out on top against the Sunnyslope Vikings by a score of 4-2. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Thunder considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

They hit Sunnyslope with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kalib Akerson, Genki Shinohara, Hayden Quest, and Kymani Grant.

Desert Vista has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those seven games. As for Sunnyslope, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Desert Vista didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Mica Mountain on the 12th. Sunnyslope does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
