Basketball Recap: Farmington's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Peoria Heights, Farmington was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Elmwood Trojans by a score of 41-29. For the Farmers, this counts as revenge for the 60-47 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

The victory snapped Farmington's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-11 record. As for Elmwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.

Farmington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-33 win against Knoxville on the 25th. As for Elmwood, they will face off against Peoria Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Peoria Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Elmwood surely won't give up without a fight.
