Jason Willis Jr Delivers Electric Performance Vs East Burke

Starting off the list is Bunker Hill's Jason Willis Jr, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Willis Jr rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

If history really does repeat itself, Willis Jr might just drop another big game when he faces off against Maiden on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Willis Jr saw the Blue Devils), he rushed for 332 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per carry.

Maiden has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Misher and Maiden will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bunker Hill at 7:30 p.m.

Bost Made His Presence Known in Lincolnton's 63-6 Victory

Treylen Bost's big game helped extend Lincolnton's winning streak to three on Friday. West Caldwell had no answer to Bost as he rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Bost's longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Bost might have his next game, a home matchup with East Burke, circled on his calendar. Bost rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries the last time he and the Cavaliers duked it out back in October of 2023.
