Preview: Clarke County Bulldogs vs. Blacksher Bulldogs
The Clarke County Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Blacksher Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarke County is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Clarke County strolled past Chickasaw with points to spare, taking the game 57-43.
Meanwhile, Blacksher's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Chickasaw 48-21. While losing is never fun, Blacksher can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while Chickasaw is ranked 198th).
Clarke County's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Blacksher, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
Clarke County strolled past Blacksher in their previous meeting last Thursday by a score of 56-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clarke County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
