Volleyball Game Preview: Tri-Valley Mustangs vs. Dell Rapids Quarriers

Tri-Valley hasn't had much luck against Dell Rapids recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs will welcome the Quarriers at 6:45 p.m.

On Tuesday, Tri-Valley came up short against Elk Point-Jefferson and fell 3-1. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-13 in the first set.

Tri-Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Dell Rapids made easy work of Madison on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Quarriers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-15.

Dell Rapids' victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
