Basketball Recap: Midlakes Takes a Loss

Midlakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 61-31 loss at the hands of the Bloomfield Bombers. That's two games in a row now that the Screaming Eagles have lost by exactly 30 points.

Midlakes' record is now 5-11. As for Bloomfield, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midlakes will square off against Penn Yan Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Midlakes is facing Penn Yan Academy at the right time seeing as Penn Yan Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bloomfield, they will head out on the road to take on Waterloo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waterloo will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Bloomfield surely won't give up without a fight.
