If St. Thomas Aquinas was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Boca Raton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders fell just short of the Stoneman Douglas Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Sophie Barnes, who's now up to 15 this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Thomas Aquinas fell to 12-1-3. As for Stoneman Douglas, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1-6.

St. Thomas Aquinas will challenge Viera at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Thomas Aquinas' defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Viera's offense will have their work cut out for them. Stoneman Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
