Basketball Recap: Keswick Christian Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Keswick Christian extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Grant Cook. The Keswick Christian Crusaders breezed by the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats to the tune of 69-42 on Friday thanks in part to Cook, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 34 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Keswick Christian is 7-1 when Cook posts 15 or more points, but 5-6 otherwise.

Landon Wilson was another key player, putting up five points along with five rebounds and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Keswick Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Academy at the Lakes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Keswick Christian has already played their next contest, a 63-50 loss against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic on the 21st. As for Academy at the Lakes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 48-27 defeat against IMG Academy Silver on the 18th.
