The L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders took a hard 60-46 fall against the Fitzgerald Spartans on Wednesday. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

L'Anse Creuse North's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-5. As for Fitzgerald, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
