Football Game Preview: Rosemont Wolverines vs. Argonaut Mustangs + How To Watch

The Rosemont Wolverines will head out on the road to take on the Argonaut Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Rosemont's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.

Rosemont will bounce into Friday's game after beating Union Mine, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Wolverines took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-22 win over the Diamondbacks. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rosemont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Wolhers, who threw for 233 yards and three TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also caught one touchdown. Alex 'Pit' Rodriguez was another key back, rushing for 94 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries.

Meanwhile, Argonaut played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 41-14 defeat at the hands of Liberty Ranch. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while the Hawks are ranked 195th).

Rosemont pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.0 points over those games. As for Argonaut, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Rosemont came up short against Argonaut when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 20-13. Thankfully for the Wolverines, Seth Mitchell (who rushed for 172 yards and a pair of TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
