Baseball Recap: Avon Takes a Loss

Avon lost to Steele on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Comets, falling 9-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avon's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Steele, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Avon has already played their next contest, an 8-7 victory against North Ridgeville on the 30th. As for Steele, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northview at 3:00 p.m. on the 9th.
