Soccer Recap: Northwest Falls Short Against Ranked Gretna East

Northwest is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Gretna East. Wolves lost 5-1 to the Griffins. The loss was Northwest's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northwest fell to 7-1. As for Gretna East, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 13-0.

Coming up, Northwest will welcome Southeast Polk at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gretna East, they are taking a road trip to take on Bennington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
