Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Griffin Bears. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since November 26, 2024.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Griffin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Griffin has already played their next contest (against Harris County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
