Marshall had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Pennfield on Wednesday. The Redhawks put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 5-0 win. Marshall's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Marshall has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those eight contests. As for Pennfield, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.
