Football Recap: Archie Skates Past Osceola with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Archie). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging an 87-14 win over the Osceola Indians. The Whirlwinds haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Although Osceola took the loss, they still got scores from Devin Bloom and Matthew Gilstrap.

Archie's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Osceola, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Archie will be playing at home against Bishop LeBlond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Whirlwinds will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Osceola, they will head out to square off against Lockwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
