Sylvan-Lucas won the last time they faced Pike Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sylvan-Lucas took both sets by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Dominique Davidson and Harlee Nelson, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Lily Pancost and her eight assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Sylvan-Lucas' win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 16-7. As for Pike Valley, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Sylvan-Lucas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Rock Hills on the 30th. As for Pike Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Linn on the 4th.
