Basketball Recap: Follett Makes It 13 in a Row at Home

Follett hadn't done well against Booker recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Follett Panthers took down the Booker Kiowas 42-26. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Julian Barton and Reydn Rosales certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Barton posted 12 points and eight boards, while Rosales scored eight points and six rebounds. Barton has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played.

Follett's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Booker, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-6.

Follett is taking a road trip to face off against Darrouzett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Follett is facing Darrouzett at the right time seeing as Darrouzett is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Booker, they will welcome Miami at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
