Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Henry Trent, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Whitsett, who had 13 points.

Even though they lost, Grimsley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Page didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Southeast Guilford on Friday, but they still walked away with a 57-51 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.

Grimsley's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Page, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.
