Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitehouse). Their defense stepped up to hand the Marshall Mavericks a 7-0 shutout on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Mavericks: they've now won six in a row.

Whitehouse's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Marshall, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Whitehouse will welcome Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jacksonville will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Whitehouse surely won't give up without a fight.
