Volleyball Recap: Elko Takes a Loss

Elko's tournament run continued when they took on Spanish Springs on Saturday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Cougars. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was AJ Robinson, who had six aces, five digs, and one block. That's the most aces she has posted over her last five games.

Elko's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Spanish Springs, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

After both having extra time off, Elko and South Tahoe will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spanish Springs, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Fernley on the 23rd.
