Wenatchee hadn't done well against Eastmont recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Wenatchee was the clear victor by an 18-6 margin over Eastmont. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Nolan Godfrey was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Wenatchee got a massive performance out of Thomas Ivey, who scored three runs and stole seven bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those seven stolen bases gave Ivey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Griffin Butler, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Wenatchee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastmont only posted an OBP of .324.

Wenatchee now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Eastmont, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Wenatchee will have a chance to go back-to-back against Eastmont: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
