There's no place like home for Edgewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sauk Prairie Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Eagles last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 27-25, 27-25.

Emily Conwell paced Edgewood's offense, picking up seven kills. Conwell got some help from Addie Oeth and her 20 assists. Lexi Weyenberg controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Edgewood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Sauk Prairie, their loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 24-4.

Edgewood has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Mount Horeb on the 11th. As for Sauk Prairie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Portage on the 11th.
