Basketball Recap: Independence's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Independence entered their tilt with Charleston on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 81-62. That 19 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Charleston's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Omari Price, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 boards, and Jaiden Nunaley, who shot 75% from beyond the arc en route to 20 points.

Independence's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Charleston, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Independence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-61 victory against Hernando on the 17th. As for Charleston, they will face off against Lake Cormorant at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
