Volleyball Game Preview: Kenston Bombers vs. Bedford Bearcats

After both having extra time off, the Kenston Bombers and the Bedford Bearcats will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Kenston lost 3-0 to Mayfield back in March.

While Kenston was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mayfield's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Bedford earned a 3-1 win over East Tech last Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bearcats.

Bedford walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 17-25, 25-6.

Kenston better keep an eye on Alijah Akins. He was instrumental in Bedford's win, getting 15 aces and eight digs.

Kenston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bedford, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
