Volleyball Recap: Syracuse Comes Up Short

Syracuse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Brynn Rebel, who had 14 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 17 games she's played.

Syracuse's defeat dropped their record down to 19-16. As for Thomas More Prep-Marian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 26-13.

As of now, neither Syracuse nor the Monarchs have any future games scheduled.
