Softball Recap: Pequannock Starts Season with Loss at Home

Pequannock unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 16-3 to the Whippany Park Wildcats on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Panthers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Coming up, Pequannock will square off against Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whippany Park, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Whippany Park Wildcats challenge Hackettstown Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
