Basketball Recap: Luke Macdermod's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Greenbrier Christian Academy over Stonebridge

While it was all tied up 25-25 at halftime, Greenbrier Christian Academy was not quite StoneBridge's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 69-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the StoneBridge Cavaliers. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenbrier Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Luke Macdermod, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Macdermod's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Burris, who posted 14 points.

Greenbrier Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for StoneBridge, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Greenbrier Christian Academy will square off against Hampton Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for StoneBridge, they will take on Atlantic Shores Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
