Volleyball Game Preview: Arroyo Grande Eagles vs. Flintridge Prep Wolves + Official Tickets

The Arroyo Grande Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Flintridge Prep Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Arroyo Grande heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central Valley Christian. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep came up short against Foothill last Saturday and fell 3-1.

While Flintridge Prep had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21.

Arroyo Grande will need to focus on slowing down Ally Perez, one of several Flintridge Prep players who made an impact when they last played. She had 19 digs. Perez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Ashlyn Nam was another key player, getting 12 digs, five aces, and one block.

Arroyo Grande's defeat dropped their record down to 34-12. As for Flintridge Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 25-4.
