Basketball Recap: Freehold Boro Wins Going Away Against Shore Regional

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rutgers Prep, Freehold Boro was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They strolled past the Shore Regional Blue Devils with points to spare, taking the game 74-56. That's more bragging rights for the Colonials, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Freehold Boro is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Shore Regional, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-3.

Freehold Boro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-40 victory against Asbury Park on the 23rd. Shore Regional has also already played their next game, a 46-32 win against Monmouth Regional on the 23rd.
