Wasco's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They beat East Bakersfield by a goal, winning 1-0. Jayleen Aviles had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Kennedy's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Delano 1-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Thunderbirds as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Wasco's victory bumped their record up to 2-7-1. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
