Basketball Recap: Julious Williams' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Antietam over Cocalico

Antietam saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 58-50 to the Cocalico Eagles. The matchup marked the Mountaineers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Antietam lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Julious Williams, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds. AJ Scheifley was another key player, putting up 13 points and six rebounds.

Antietam dropped their record down to 6-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Cocalico, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Antietam will challenge Upper Merion Area at 1:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Cocalico, they will head out to face off against Conestoga Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
