Baseball Recap: Summerville Comes Up Short

Summerville and Woodland Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Summerville had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Bears' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Summerville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14-1. As for Woodland Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Summerville nor Woodland Christian have any future games scheduled.
