Softball Recap: Mogadore's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

Mogadore has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.1 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 11-4 to the Revere Minutemen. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mogadore fell to 9-1. As for Revere, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Coming up, Mogadore will head out to challenge Tuslaw at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Revere, they will welcome Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Minutemen's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Hornets have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
