Newark Charter School faced Wilmington Charter in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Patriots never let the Force get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Newark Charter School might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Newark Charter School, bringing their record up to 7-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Wilmington Charter, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newark Charter School will welcome St. Mark's at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wilmington Charter, they will host Conrad Science at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
