Soccer Recap: Pinecrest Prep Takes a Loss

Pinecrest Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Mater Brickell Academy Bulls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mater Brickell Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 back in December of 2025.

Pinecrest Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Mater Brickell Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Pinecrest Prep will venture away from home to square off against Archimedean at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mater Brickell Academy, they will head out to take on Mater Bay Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
